It’s been so long since I’ve had a giveaway on this blog, and I suddenly just had the urge to do another one. This one is for a $25 gift certificate for Cathe.com. The winner can use it for a Cathe Friedrich DVD or Fitness by Cathe workout gear or I guess anything on her shop. Cathe is my absolute favorite DVD workout instructor and her fitness products are pretty great, too. I’ve been thinking about her a lot since she just had her 2009 Road Trip last weekend (which I didn’t get to attend this time
).
To enter the giveaway, just comment below–do you do Cathe workouts? Do you even know who Cathe is? If you do her workouts, which are your favorites? I am not doing her stuff while super-pregnant and I miss it. I look forward to getting back to it postpartum.

How fun! I used to use all Cathe all the time!!! I’ve branched out, but I still have a massive collection of Cathe DVD’s and even some VHS. I just started CTX yesterday and plan to alternate that with 4DS for maybe 4 weeks or so. School starts this week so I am looking for short, intense, throwing in a KB, yoga, or a workout from The Pit here and there but CTX and 4DS will be my main rotation. I think it’s great that you are able to workout at least some while being pregnant! Oh, I’m having to be picker with preorders but I did preorder Shock Cardio and I can’t wait!!!

Great giveaway! I love Cathe’s weight workouts! I’m too choreography challenged for her step workouts, but have hope for her kickboxing workouts. So far my favorite Cathe strength workout is Pure Strength, but I have several newer ones on tap to try out in the fall! I hope I win!

I LOVE Cathe! I’ve been working out to her workouts since 2005 and she’s awesome! It’s really hard to choose a favorite one since they are all awesome, but if I had to choose just one it would be Imax 2 because the moves and music ROCKS!!!! It’s just such a fun and tough workout. I would love to win a $24 GC to buy me a DVD I’ve been eyeing on there

Hey! Great prize!
I have only done a couple of her workouts- step ones, when I signed them out from the library. (so I forget the titles) They were great. Her moves were NOT boring, a seller for me- step choreography lover.
I follow her on twitter (thanks to the idea from you, I think) and she’s a super nice person, too. She even DM responds to tweets, too. Love that about a fitness celebrity!

I’ve been a “Cathelete” for 4 years. I started doing her workouts after the FIRM workouts got a bit too easy for me. I never turned back – she is truly top of the line in what she does. My favorite, the one I love to hate currently, is STS. I’m doing a 2nd round of Mesocycle 1 for muscle endurance after completing the whole cycle once through this spring. I’m not a huge fan of heavy lifting, so I am hoping Meso 1 and lots of cardio does the trick!

I love Cathe!!! That’s the only workout I’ve stay for almost 2 years,and much, much more to come. I have done some others instructors, but noting like Cathe.. I always go back to her.. She is just wonderful and unique

I started using Cathe’s dvds in February of this year. Just by chance is how it happened. I was talking with a friend at work about how I just couldn’t stand myself anymore! My weight was out of control and I couldn’t even get up and down my stairs without huffing and puffing. She had been checking out video instructors and had mentioned Cathe and a couple of others that had been highly ranked. I went to justaboutfitness.com and started looking up Cathe’s stuff. She had so much out there to choose from! I was overwhelmed at first, but kept looking and reading and decided on three – Cardio Fusion, Body Blast Series: Step, Jump & Pump & Step Blast, and Ab Hits. Thought it would hit it all! And it did! Within a few weeks, my endurance was improving, my weight was starting to come down and Cathe was motivating and fun! I was hooked! I’m slowly working my way towards a full Cathe library and now, I’m also only 1.5 pounds away from my goal weight, I’m eating clean AND running, which I NEVER thought I would be able to do! I’m contemplating my first 5K at 47 (almost 48) years old!
Cathe has saved me! (Plus a lot of hard work and dedication from me!) But without having found her dvds, I wouldn’t have found her website and joined the Cathe Forums where I have learned about so many things that have moved me (in more ways than one!) like Couch to 5K and Cardio Coach.
That was only 6 months ago!

I’ve been working out with Cathe since 2002. My first DVD was High Step Training and I recall thinking I’d never be able to do it. Well, it’s still hard (but no longer impossible!) but in a good way and I now own just about everything she’s produced. Right now I am beginning a second round of CLX and I will be doing Cathe on my cardio and ab days. Whoo-hoo! I need to get back in the groove and I’d like to get my hand in some of those weighted gloves!!!!

I’ve been doing Cathe workouts for almost 2 decades. When I do the older workouts (on VHS!) I find her workouts have stayed interesting and challenging all this time. STS is my favorite right now, the best of the best!

Cathe is my favorite instructor, and am slowly building my collection, but, no where close to completing it! I work out with her 3 to 6 times per week. What fun, and thanks for putting on this give-a-way!

I own almost all of Cathe’s workouts. I do other instructor’s workouts also because I love variety and get bored easily. Quite often I do my own workout because I have a large home gym and sometimes I am training for a particular event. I really do love Cathe though! My favorite Cathe workouts are Imax 2 and STS.

Cathe is the reason why I’ve lost near 50lbs! Yes, I know Cathe. It turns out that she works out the town next to where I grew up and that Cedie was my gym teacher in middle school. What a weird feeling when I realized it all. I love Cathe because I’m never bored with her workouts…she keeps my mind going the whole time. And frankly, she’s made me believe that I could really be an athlete. What’s great about her DVDs is that her beautiful personality comes out so well that my husband loves her and has gotten closer to the physique he wants because of Cathe. It was an absolute thrill when we hung out with Cathe last February and when Cedie write emails to me. everyone who is close to me knows who Cathe is and I have lured people into Cathe…my best friend ordered a push/pull tower a couple months ago. Actually, that same friend preordered STS Shock Cardio and my mother just got me STS Strength which I am eagerly awaiting for in the mail. I feel like I struck gold with Cathe and my body is changing into something I’m more and more proud of. Let us know how your own post baby exercising goes — we were planning on getting pregnant sometime in 2010 and I really would like to know how to stay in shape during and after the pregnancy. I use Cathe’s DVDs exclusive now for my at home work outs. All the other workouts are just collecting dust. STS is my current favorite. I’m on round 2 right now. It is so sweet of you offer a blog give-away. Its been neat reading the other postings. I was having post road trip blues(it was my fourth), but this brings a smile to my face.

Yeah!!! This is fun! I do Cathe and have been since 2006. She is the best instructor I have had thus far. Her workouts are challenging and I love it! I tell everyone about her and am looking forward to the new shock cardio workouts (ok, with a little fear mixed in – haha!).

Just bumming around on the web when I found your blog, it’s great! I have to share this, I went from really over weight, not into health and fitness at all, to obsessed with good health. Cathe workouts are a huge contributor. When I started working out I remember thinking I would never be fit enough for a Cathe workout. Then one day I rented Drill Max from the library and was hooked! I tried BM2 and then Imax 3. At first I thought it was too much, but I kept working at it. Since discovering Cathe, I tried some of her older step, and Terminator. Still have a soft spot for my first Cathe workout, Drill Max.

I have been working out to Cathe for over 4 years now, and I love her!! I have nearly every one of her dvd’s, and it is hard to choose a favorite. Some of my faves are Low Impact Circuit, Imax 2, and Cardio Kicks. Can’t wait for STS Cardio!

I especially love STS Series and the 4DS. One of the oldies she doesn’t sell anymore is the Wedding video. I just love the step workout for days when I don’t have a lot of energy and still will get a great cardio workout. It’s more basic and don’t have to think too much, yet advanced enough to really make you sweat.
I own all of her workouts, and it was truly hard to just pin point a few, because I love every single one of them. Each and every one of her workouts are made to help us with our bodies and become strong and healthy. Can’t ask for more than that. They are not easy, but that is what get great results.

Oh, I have done Cathe’s videos for such a long time! She is the best instructor I have ever had in person or on video. She got me through my pregnancy with twins. I attribute her for keep them in to be full term babies. She kept me moving and fit even when I felt huge. My water broke doing a VERY modified step blast
I truly believe that exercise is the greatest gift you can give to yourself and Cathe knows how to do it right! Now, I am a fitness instructor because of her. She is definitely my guru like she is for so many others.
PS – I also LOVE that she is such a great business woman. Working out with not only a physical fit person, but also a strong one makes it even better.

I only work out to Cathe dvd’s. Its been over 5 years now. I have lowered my cholesterol, lost a few pounds and tightend up loose ends.
Not too bad as I approach the big 5-0 next weekend. I’ve never been to a road trip and I cant afford the Eggland trip to Daytona this year. Maybe one day I’ll get to meet her and tell her in person how much she has impacted my fitness life. Thanks for letting me share. Carmen

I switched to Cathe about 18 months ago and haven’t used any of my other dvds/tapes since. My favorite Cathe is rhythmic step probably because it was my first advanced Cathe workout that I did. Adding weightlifting to my workout routine has really kicked up my metabolism and gotten me back down to what I weighed in college 25 years ago!

I have been working out with Cathe since about 1996. She has gotten me in better shape then if I could have really thought possible. I am also a fitness instructor and she motives me every morning to get out of bed and get moving!! My all-time favorite Cathe workouts are the 4-Day Split Series. It has everything you need and each day is only an hour!!
